WascoAHGP.org is dedicated to compiling and making freely available materials on the history of Wasco County, Oregon, and the ancestry of its families, past and present. We are the local affiliate of the American History and Genealogy Project (AHGP) , and its state-wide affiliate, Oregon AHGP. The materials on this site are open to the general public. Visitors are free to browse our articles, document transcriptions, message boards, and databases. Additional features are available to registered users, including use of our server to host family trees (GEDCOM files), family and historic photo albums, and posting to our message board. Registration is free, and we do not sell, share, or otherwise distribute our users' e-mail addresses or other personal information. Volunteers are always needed to serve as compilers, authors and editors. Just drop us a message through the Contact Form.
